BIBLE TEXT:

And it came to pass after this, that Benhadad king of Syria gathered his host, and went up, and besieged Samaria. And there was a great famine in Samaria: 2 Kings 6:24-25a

Then Elisha said, Hear ye the word of the LORD; Thus saith the LORD, Tomorrow about this time shall a measure of fine flour be sold for a shekel, and two measures of barley for a shekel, in the gate of Samaria. 2 Kings. 7:1

PREAMBLE:

From the above passage, the city of Samaria was under a siege, but God came to the rescue by sending His word ahead of deliverance through his servant. 

We are in a time when many families and nations are under various forms of siege; of terrorism, kidnapping, epidemics, banditry, drugs and other vices leading to famine, poverty, diseases, breakdown of laws and order, indecencies, hatred, destruction of family and Christian values.

The theme for this year Congress “The Siege is over” as received through our Father- -in-the Lord; the General overseer Pastor E. A. Adeboye, is a prophetic word from the throne of grace, needed at times like this when nations are over burdened with outcome of the siege. It is a light in darkness; a word of renewed hope. Indeed, this is now our appointed time.

We are hereby using the following prayer guidelines in seeking the face of God who answer by fire. Assuredly, He will answer all our prayers in respect of this year Holy Ghost Congress and put an end to all forms of siege in our lives, families and our Nations in Jesus’ Name.

DAY 1: WORSHIP AND PRAISE

INTRODUCTION: Let us approach the throne of grace in worship, adoration and with quality praises as we begin to seek the face of the most high for this year Holy Ghost Congress

PRAYER POINTS:

1. Extol the name of the Lord for the creation. Isa 42;5
2. Let us sing: O come let us adore HIM. 3ce Him Christ the Lord. For HIM alone is worthy. 3ce Him Christ the Lord
3. Let us sing; Oh bless the Lord; O my soul, and all that is within me. Bless His Holy name. He has done great thing 3ce Bless His Holy name.
4. Father, we worship you for you are holy in Jesus name
5. Father, we worship you for you alone is worthy to be worshipped in Jesus name
6. Father, we praise your name for you alone is worthy to be praised in Jesus name
7. Father, we revere and honour you and we submit our loyalty and adoration to you in Jesus name
8. Father, we worship you for you are the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end in Jesus name Rev.1:8
9. Father, we praise your name, for you existed before time and created everything that exist in Jesus name
10. Father, we adore you for you are awesome, only you have held the ocean in your hands, you measured off the heaven with your fingers and you know how much the earth weighs, Isa 40:12
11. Father, we worship you for you sit above the circle of the earth, the people the works of your creations and wonders, Isa 40:22
12. Father, we confess; there is no one like you. You are the Incomparable God
13. Father; we worship you, our saviour, our redeemer and through you we are justified in Jesus name
14. Father, we give you all the glory, we give you honour in Jesus name.
15. Our father; hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come in our lives, families, your church and in this year HOLY GHOST CONGRESS.

DAY 2: PRAYER OF MERCY

PART 1: INDIVIDUALS, FAMILIES AND CHURCH

INTRODUCTION:

For all have sinned and have come short of God’s glory, but grace is available for as many as will confess and forsake their sins. The Almighty God is ready to forgive by His mercy.

PRAYER POINTS:

1. Father, thank you for your loving kindness and great mercy which is new every morning in Jesus name
2. Father, have mercy on me and fill me with your grace in Jesus name
3. Father, have mercy on me and wash me clean with the blood of Jesus Christ
4. Father, let your mercy single me out for special encounter with you this year and for the rest of my life in Jesus name
5. Father, have mercy on me and heal me of all my pains and lift me up to live and proclaim your glory in Jesus name
6. Father; have mercy upon my family for our shortcomings and wrongdoings in Jesus name. Heb 4:16
7. Father, visit my family with your mercy and teach us to always be content and know that your grace is sufficient for us everyday in Jesus name
8. Remember O Lord, we are the Church which You bought with your own blood on the cross
9. Father; Let the blood of Jesus avail for your church for all her shortcomings in Jesus name.
10. Father; I stand in the gap for your Church, let your mercy flows in Jesus name

PART 2: NATIONS AND FOR NIGERIA

INTRODUCTION: God has established nations of the world to be centre of righteousness, fruitfulness, dominion and peace for His glory. Let us pray for our respective nation and Nigeria that they will overcome their challenges and fulfil prophesy

1. Father, thank you for establishing this nation and for your mercy that has kept my nation thus far in Jesus name. Lam 3:22
2. Father; we thank you for your good plan for our nation.
3. Father, forgive us and have mercy over our land for our past ungodly acts.
4. Father; in the place of judgment over our nation, please remember mercy
5. Father, by your mercies empower righteous men and women for the liberation of our nation from incompetent and abused leadership and elevate our nation to enviable high places of the earth in Jesus name.
6. Father, we frustrate and cancel the schemes and devices of the children of the bondwoman to invade our communities and nation. May their deliberations and strategies end up in confusion and shame in Jesus name.
7. Father, by Your mercies, expose unpleasant perpetrators of evil in this nation, terminate their evil works and bring them to public shame in Jesus name.
8. Father; we thank you for the place of Nigeria in the commonwealth of nations
9. Father, by Your mercies, we declare peace in Nigeria from the Federal Capital to the Local constituencies from now to the year 2023.
10. Father, establish and prosper Nigeria economically, spiritually and politically henceforth to the glory of Your name in Jesus name.

DAY 3: THANKSGIVING FOR PAST HOLY GHOST CONGRESSES

DAY 4: PRAYER FOR JOURNEY MERCIES AND FAVOUR DURING This YEAR HOLY GHOST CONGRESS

INTRODUCTION:

2021 Holy Ghost Congress is coming: Traveling has become a challenging undertaking to embark upon particularly from distance places all over Nigeria to the Redemption Camp. Apart from the risks of accidents there are also the fear of being kidnapped either for rituals or for ransoms by bandits, kidnappers and killer herdsmen. Therefore, we need to cry to God in fervent prayers for divine protection.

PRAYER POINTS:

1. Father, we bless Your Holy name for the salvation of our souls. Psa 103:1
2. Let us bless the name of the Lord. It has been the Lord’s mercies that we were not consumed, because His compassions have not failed us. Lam, 3:22, Ps. 34:1
3. Father, we thank You for the successes granted us in the past Holy Ghost Congresses.
4. Father, we thank You for journey mercies in past Holy Ghost Congresses.
5. Father; we thank you for another Holy Ghost Congress that is here again.
6. Let us pray for forgiveness of all our sins that may hinder the move of God in this year Holy Ghost Congress. Ps. 79:9
7. Father, before, during and after this year Holy Ghost Congress, please grant us journey mercies. Ps. 121:1-8
8. Father, we pray against accidents and every evil occurrence on the road during the Holy Ghost Congress in Jesus name.
9. Father we come against activities of bandits, kidnapper, rituals and demand for ransom on the roads in Jesus mighty name.
10. Father, let there be no air crashes, no ship sinking in Jesus name.
11. Father, let there be no fuel crisis all over the country during this year’s Holy Ghost Congress in Jesus name.
12. Father, we decree in your name that there shall be no bandits attack against the Redemption Camp before, during and after the Holy Ghost Congress this year in Jesus name.
13. Father; Let there be angelic surveillance watching over all your children participating in this year Congress.
14. Father; provide for the needs of all who intended to be parts of this year Congress in Jesus name.
15. Father, by your mercies, let the siege be over after this year’s Holy Ghost Congress in Jesus name.

DAY 5: PRAYERS TO END THE SIEGE OF TERRORISM

INTRODUCTION:

Terrorism is a major challenge today in many nations of the world. One of the weapons of the spirit of anti-Christ against the church and the poor in the society is violence. We need to cry unto God in prayer for His protection and divine intervention.

PRAYER POINTS:

1. Father we thank You for being our light and salvation, we thank You for being the strength of our lives, accept our thanks in Jesus name Ps. 27:1
2. Father we thank You for always being a stumbling block to our enemies in Jesus name. Psa 27:2
3. Oh God arise and let all the terrorists in our country be scattered. Psa 68:1
4. Let those who hate Your name flee out of our nation in Jesus name. Ps 68:1
5. Father dry up the financial resources of all the terrorists and their sponsors in Jesus name.  Isa 54:17
6. Father render all the weapons and charms of all the terrorists and their sponsors impotent in Jesus name Isa. 54:17
7. Oh God frustrate and disappoint all their devices in Jesus name. Job 5:12
8. Almighty God please let the habitation of the wicked in Nigeria be desolate in Jesus name. Jer.49:20
9. Father in Your mercy deliver us from the terrors of the nights and the arrows that fly by day. Ps.91:5
10. Oh God let the triumphing of the terrorists in this nation be cut short in Jesus name. Job 27:17
11. We bind every evil spirit behind communal clashes, killings and destruction of lives and properties in this nation in Jesus name.

13. We decree that our nation’s boarders will become a no-go area for the wicked human agents; and that every attempt they make to enter this nation shall utterly fail in Jesus name. Ps.149:6-9, Job 22:26-28
14. Father by Your power, unseat every corrupt leader aiding and funding terrorism in this nation in Jesus name. Isa.47:1-6
15. Oh Lord our God by Your mercy put an end to the reign of terror, Boko Haram, militancy, robbery, kidnapping, ritual killing and all forms of insurgencies in our nation in Jesus name. Psalm 7:9
16. Father break the staff of the wicked in this nation in Jesus name. Isa. 14:5

DAY 6: PART 1: DADDY GO AND OTHER MINISTERS

INTRODUCTION: The word of God commanded us to pray for all those that are in authority. Therefore, there is need for us to pray for Daddy & Mummy G.O and all those in leadership capacities in RCCG.

PRAYER POINTS:

1. Father we thank you for Daddy, Mummy G.O, all ministers of God and families in the mission in Jesus name.
2. Father we thank you for your protection and provision over them in Jesus name.
3. Father let your mercy continue to increase towards Daddy G.O,  family and all ministers of God in RCCG  in Jesus name.
4. Father in your infinite wisdom guide and direct Daddy G.O in all his decisions in the management of RCCG worldwide in Jesus name.
5. Father release your fresh anointing upon Daddy & Mummy G.O and all officiating ministers during this year Holy Ghost Congress in Jesus name.
6. Father let your divine protection be upon all ministers of God and their families in Jesus name.
7. Father in your mercy heal all ministers of God that are sick in the mission in Jesus name.

PART 2: PRAYER FOR THE SUCCESS OF DECEMBER LETS GO FISHING

6. Father thank you for using the let’s go a fish to show mercy to the world, healing the broken hearted, deliverance to the captives, recovering of sight to the blind, and set at liberty them that are bruised. Luke 4:18
7. Father according to your word, please use the let’s go a fishing to root out and to pull down, to destroy and to throw down kingdoms and nations standing as mountains and walls against the gospel. Jer1:10.
8. Father paralyze every weapon of our enemies exalting itself above the knowledge of God, programmed against the success of this December lets go a fishing. 1 Cor 10:4
9. Father; let there be a released of the power of the Holy Ghost upon this December lets go a fishing. 1 Corinthians 2:9.

DAY 7: MANIFESTATIONS OF HIS POWER DURING THE HOLY GHOST CONGRESS

PART 1: IN SIGNS AND WONDERS

INTRODUCTION: As we have thanked God for what He has done in the past, we desire in our prayers for greater manifestations of His power in this year congress.

PRAYER POINTS:

1. Father thank you for the spirit of wisdom and guidance upon all officiating departments in Jesus name.
2. Father increase your anointing upon Daddy G.O and all officiating ministers of God.
3. Father let the heavens open and let there be healing upon all that are sick in Jesus name.
4. Father let as many that are under the oppression of the devil let them receive total deliverance in Jesus name.
5. Father let there be divine safety for all that are coming, during and after the program in Jesus name.
6. Father let the blood of Jesus destroy every altar of darkness raised against the program in Jesus name.
7. Father let all that will attend this year Holy Ghost Congress virtual and physical go back home with testimonies in Jesus name.
8. Father let there be divine safety in the kitchen before, during and after the program in Jesus name.
9. Father let as many irreversible situations be reversed in Jesus name.

INTRODUCTION:

The Lord commands that every believer must be fruit bearing, and that their fruits must abide, as the Lord will be lifted up through his word in this year Congress, may the souls of men be attracted to God and remain with Him forever.

PRAYER POINTS

1. Father thank you for sending the Holy Spirit and power over us that we may be witness unto you in the utmost part of the earth. Acts 1:8
2. Father by your mercy, while the earth remains, just like cold and winter, day and night, seedtime and harvest of souls should not cease in the Holy Ghost congress.
3. Father in this year Holy Ghost congress, empower and ignite your word to attract and gather souls of men from the four corners of the earth. Isaiah 11:12.
4. Father during the Holy Ghost congress, as many that are covered by darkness and gross darkness please arise and shine your light up on them and let your glory be seen upon them. Isaiah 60:1
5. Father, because all power has been given to you in heaven and on earth as many that will attend the congress uproot and demolish the heart of stone that want to stand against their conversion in Jesus mighty name. Mat 28:18.
6. Father according to your word, as many that will attend the congress, as soon as they hear your word, let them gladly receive it and desire more of it in the name of Jesus. Acts 2:41.
7. Father, please use this congress to add more multitude, both men and women to the church daily as many that are saved. Acts 5:14.
8. Father as people praise you in this congress, put a permanent end to their hardship and hard life, let them find favour with men and with God. Acts 2:47.
9. Father during this year Holy Ghost congress satisfy the thirsty, hungry and fainted soul, by feeding them with the fulness of your word. Isaiah 44:3.
10. Father open the door of salvation for the unbelievers, and by their conversion cause great joy for as many that are added to the body of Christ. Acts 15:3-4.
